Questions before you press play
Is BingeLingo a general language-learning app?
No. BingeLingo is a subtitle add-on that works exclusively inside Stremio. You need Stremio plus a BingeLingo account to install it.
What do I need to get started?
Create an account, choose your native and learning languages, then open the private add-on link from your dashboard in Stremio. After that, choose BingeLingo tracks from Stremio’s subtitle menu.
Which mode should I choose?
Start with Bridge when comprehension matters most. Choose Immersion when you want the target language to lead. Choose Dual when you want both complete lines for comparison.
Will it work with every movie, series, or language?
It works when the title has the source subtitle tracks required by the mode. Bridge needs a native track, Immersion needs a learning-language track, and Dual needs both.
What counts as one paid configuration?
A new Bridge or Immersion generation for one movie or episode with one set of language and learner settings. Bridge and Immersion share that credit; Dual is unlimited and cached results do not consume credits.
When do my paid credits reset?
Plus and Pro allowances reset at the start of your Stripe billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. Failed generations are released.
What happens after I watch?
Bridge and Immersion vocabulary can become a seven-day quiz with definitions and pronunciation help. Your completions, XP, levels, and streak history remain after the quiz expires.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Manage or cancel a paid subscription from the Stripe billing portal. Access remains governed by the active subscription period.
Does BingeLingo see my AI key or payment details?
No. AI credentials stay server-side and Stripe processes card details. BingeLingo stores only the account and billing identifiers needed to provide the service.
Is BingeLingo affiliated with Stremio?
No. BingeLingo is an independent third-party add-on for Stremio.
